The Sanxia Tourism Service Centre in New Taipei City is situated in the historic Sanxia Old Street, a well-known tourist attraction featuring heritage sites, local delicacies, and cultural highlights. As a key meeting point for visitors, the centre offers convenient and comprehensive travel information near a century-old well.
A major challenge was incorporating modern digital signage while preserving the historical charm of the building. The signage needed to present engaging content while ensuring excellent visibility in varying lighting conditions. Furthermore, the display had to be robust enough for continuous operation exceeding 12 hours per day, all year round.
The Sanxia Tourism Service Centre opted for AG Neovo’s NSD-5503 4K All-in-One 55-inch digital signage display. This model features high brightness, an anti-glare coating, Anti-Burn-in technology, and a 3H Hard-Coating for scratch resistance, ensuring both clarity and durability in diverse lighting conditions.
During the site survey, the Amei design team collaborated with the Sanxia Tourism Development Association to discuss equipment specifications, installation placement, and environmental factors. To mitigate lighting interference at the entrance, the NSD-5503 was carefully installed on the red brick wall beneath the arcade, maintaining the historic building’s façade while integrating modern digital signage.
